Saint John Indoor Carpet Racing: 18/19 Winter 3

The 3rd race of the 2018/19 winter series was held Feb 2nd, 2019. The race was attended by a good group of dedicated racers. When the raceday falls on an even date we run in a clockwise direction. This layout offered a short straight into a sweeper and a fairly technical infield. The carpet seam was right in the corner apex of the center 180 which added a bit of technique to the corner. The track was a bit hard on cars with a few dropping out with mechanical problems.

5 car turnout in the 1/10 TC class made for a good turnout. Unfortunately Jeremy broke a link early in the raceday and he was unable to start the final. At the tone Gregg was able to take the lead and held on for 1st. Kyle turned the fastest lap in the final, but a few mistakes held him to 2nd. Gordon and Mark had an early battle for 3rd, but Mark was able to make the pass for 3rd and Gordon ran in 4th.
