2024 ECHO RACEWAY Off-Road Race #2

Location: 60 Mineville Road, Lake Echo.
Registration:
10:00AM – 10:30AM.

Race fee is $20. Run as many classes as you like at no additional cost.
You must have your own transponder, you can still race without one, but obviously your lap times won’t be counted.

Format:
Three 5 minute qualifying rounds will be run. The results will determine your position on the starting grid for the 8 minute A-Main.
B-Mains will be run if there are more than 6 entries for any given class. The winner of the B-Main will get a bump up into the A-Main.

Classes:
1/10 4×4 short course
1/10 2 wd buggy
1/10 4 wd buggy
Depending on demand more classes will be added. Only 10th scale, no 1/8th scale
Rules for race day:
Please respect everyone’s time and show up for registration no later than 10:30AM.
If you just finished a race, it is now your turn to Marshall. Remove your vehicle from the track and get your batteries on charge ASAP, then head out on track to Marshall the next race.

Each qualifying round will have a 15 -20 minute break in between, observing lunch as appropriate.
A break will follow the three qualifiers to allow for preparation for the A-Main.
Race Etiquette:
If you are being lapped please give way. It is the leaders responsibility to announce to lap traffic that they must yield.
If you overtake someone as the result of hitting them from the rear, you are to stop and allow then to take their position in front of you again. Anything less is just dirty…
Immediately pull your car off the racetrack when you are finished your current race to avoid accidents with those racers still working on finishing.
