The Windy Acres 2024 Offroad  race will be a single day race event hosted by the Windy Acres Offroad track and Maritime RC Racing at the offroad track in Cap-Pele, NB on May 11 2024!

This race is the opening of the track in 2024!  Hope to see you there!

Date:

Saturday May 11 2024 (Rain date May 12)

Event Format:

• Will follow the 1 day race format
• Practice 8:00 – 10:00
• 10:00 – Drivers meeting
• 10:30 – Qualifying starts
• Qualifying consists of 3 rounds of 5 minute timed qualifiers
• A racers fastest single qualifier will determine the class TQ and racer start order in the finals
• Finals are expected to begin about 5:00 pm, event completed before 7:00pm
• Lower finals will be 7 minutes with bump ups to give the opportunity to make the A-Main
• All A-Main finals will be 7 Minutes

Location:

The race will be held at the Windy Acres Offroad track in Cap-Pele, NB.  2281 Ch. Acadie Cap-Pele, NB E4N 1B2

Classes:

Minimum of 4 racers to make a class. Maximum of 10 racers in a heat, 11 racers will be broken into a heat of 5 and 6

For this event we will offer the Maritime RC Racing standard offroad classes:

• 1/10 2wd Buggy, open motor, 2 cell lipo
• 1/10 4wd Buggy, open motor, 2 cell lipo
• 1/10 2wd Stadium Truck, open motor, 2 cell lipo
• 1/10 2wd Short Course Truck, open motor, 2 cell lipo
• 1/10 4wd Short Course Truck, open motor, 2 cell lipo
• 1/8 E-Buggy, open motor, 4 cell lipo

Pricing:

• The first class will be $20
• The second class will be $5
• And the third class will be $5
• To a max of $30
• Windy Acres will use the MRCR vostock decoder RC3 system that system that uses AMBrc, MyLaps 2 wire, and MRT transponders.
