Cap-Pele 2018 Offroad Series #6

The 6th and final race of the 2018 Cap-Pele offroad series was held Oct 6th, 2018. Twenty One(21) racers came to enjoy the day and race their RC’s with their friends from NB, NS, and PEI.

It was a brisk fall day, with temps hovering around 10 degrees with a light breeze. The track was damp from rain earlier in the week. This gave the track grip for the entire day without the need for water. As the day progressed the damp track gave way to large ruts forming. The rough track lead to some very close finals as racers battled for the series points.

Plaques were provided by 333 Customs, Subway cards provided by Revolution Raceway, Great Hobbies provided $50 gift certificates, and Freedom Hobbies provided $10gift certificates to the racers! The results from this race will be added to the overall series points.

Shane finished 2nd after also falling as low as 5th. the most improved on the podium was Gislain who started 5th to lead the race for a few laps before finishing in 3rd.
